LaDell and Eleanor Brown were married on July 16, 1960 in the Manti Temple.

In recognition of this special anniversary, our seven children and spouses organized a family reunion which was held in a beautiful lodge near Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.

A total of 46 family members were in attendance for the three-day celebration including those traveling from Columbus, Ohio, Maple Grove, Minn., and Chico, Calif.

Activities included: horseback riding, river rafting, a football game, wood and brick breaking skills, introduction to ancestors through pictures and histories, a quilt making service project, a special tribute by each of our seven children including a video presentation titled “Love Remains” showing selected pictures throughout 50 years.

Much planning and work resulted in a magnificent event for the entire family.

Our hearts were deeply touched and we express our love and gratitude.
