Derek Steven Nielson and Brittany Nichole Schmidt
They were high school sweethearts and were married on July 17, 2010.
Brittany and Derek graduated in 2006 from Tooele High School. They both are attending Weber State University. Brittany is pursuing a degree in business and is assistant manager of an apartment complex. Derek is pursuing a degree in radiology and is a member of the Weber State University soccer team that won the National Championship in 2009.
They will reside in Tooele, where they have bought their first home.
